Good article. I like the relax, set aside, wait to respond approach. In the old days, I used to dictate a letter when angry and put it in my desk drawer. The next day, take it out and throw it away. I do the same occasionally with emails. The key is throwing away that first response.
Great article. The bar discipline process is sort of like Grendel for those of us who don't know anything about it; a menacing creature that comes in the night to tear off your limbs/take your bar license.
I also like the point about not representing yourself. Even though people joke about me never having to hire a lawyer, I always do when I need one. I do DUI and traffic infractions, but I sent my recent speeding ticket to a friend to handle. A lawyer who represents himself has a fool for a client, and my momma didn't raise a fool.
